All American Marine Launches New Hybrid Catamaran

All American Marine recently launched the Waterman for Kitsap Transit on February 5th, to a beautiful day here in Bellingham. The 70′ x 26′ USCG Subchapter T, hybrid-electric passenger vessel was designed by Glosten in Seattle, and will serve as a water taxi, transporting 150 passengers between Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Annapolis Washington. Featuring BAE’s HybriDrive system, the Waterman is the second Hybrid Electric vessel built by All American Marine. The first being the Enhydra, WorkBoat’s 2018 Boat of the year. WorkBoat names its 2018 Boat of the Year

WorkBoat recognized the 10 Significant Boats of 2018 and named its Boat of the Year at an awards ceremony at the International WorkBoat Show Thursday morning. The 2018 Boat of the year was the Enhydra, a 600-passenger hybrid tour vessel built by All American Marine for Red and White Fleet.

In April 2009, the commissioners of Kitsap Transit unanimously approved $5.3m for the purchase of a 77-ft ultra-low wake Teknicraft catamaran to be built at All American Marine, Inc. of Bellingham, Washington.
