About Teknicraft Design Limited

In 1999 All American Marine negotiated an Exclusive Design Agreement with Nic deWaal of Teknicraft Design Limited, Auckland, New Zealand. All American Marine is the exclusive builder in the U.S utilizing Nic's innovative designs.

Nic de Waal, managing director of Teknicraft and a qualified professional engineer, has been designing catamarans for over 20 years. His hull designs have proven themselves to provide excellent balance between stability, low resistance and ride comfort, especially when sea conditions deteriorate.

History of All American Marine

Since its inception in 1987, All American Marine has built over 100 aluminum boats. In the early days, AAM's mainstay was the "bow-picker" built primarily for use in the Alaska commercial fisheries. In 1998-99, AAM seized the opportunity to move into the high-tech catamaran business when they established an exclusive partnership with New Zealand naval architect, Nic deWaal.
